Achan has an MSc in Business Administration majoring in Business Development and internationalization from Umeå University, Sweden and a BSc in International Business Administration majoring in Marketing from United States International University (USIU)-Africa, Kenya. She is an entrepreneurial and civil society practitioner having attained experience in conducting and coordinating research within the sphere of humanitarian and governance sectors post conflict areas of South Sudan, Three areas of Sudan and Northern Uganda.
Some of her research works include: humanitarian need assessment and program evaluation in the context of fragile states, Public finance management and Fiscal Transparency, Gender analysis, Conflict, migration, human trafficking, Agribusiness, and Peace & security studies.
